Spring Time Saturday!
Mar 6th, 2010 by Arkmulebarn
It is a lovely day in my corner of the woods. The sky is clear and the snow is almost totally GONE – there were a couple of 2 foot high piles in the parking lot when I left work yesterday afternoon. The temperature has risen to the low 60′s, so No More Snow!
Hooray!
The front door has been open most of the day; the back bedroom window has been open all week.
Heaven!
I’m even considering planting tomatoes this year. Considering the possibility that I’ll be buried in them and will require extra work to put them up for winter, this is a big step.
And I’m only talking about 1 or 2 plants.
The mind boggles!
From the traffic I encountered on my way to feed my truck this afternoon, lots of folks are out and about enjoying the nice weather.
PBS has begun its Spring Pledge Drive. If you are able, and inclined, don’t forget to send them a few dollars. What you get in return far exceeds what little you spend.
I’m in the middle of the Coffee House series. (I accidentally read one out of order…) I’m enjoying the work, but looking for the next Big Read.
Yes, my Kindle gets a heavy workout during the week! I’m even considering taking out my trusty crochet needle and making a cover for it. Keep in mind that I pull out said trusty needle so often I have to re-teach myself the skill. This could be interesting.
To those who visited last month – Thank you! I hope you enjoyed your visit enough to share the address with friends. We like company around here!
Have a great weekend – Enjoy the Oscars.
